The Grove offers the perfect setting for any special occasion, event or get-together with friends & family. Whether it’s a big birthday celebration, baby shower, christening or the likes we would be delighted to host your event!
We can accommodate from 35-55 guests seated in our downstairs function area which will have a private staffed bar just for you and your guests. All pricing enclosed is inclusive of 5 hour room hire, white table linen & white spandex chair covers.

FAQ’s
When is the grove available for private hire?
The Grove function area is available 7 days a week.
How many guests can the venue hold?
The maximum number of guests that our function area can accommodate is 55 seated . This is during our normal opening hours.
can we have music?
Our function area is not completely private, therefore the music provided is the venues background music, unfortunately we cannot not allow DJs at this time.
Can we decorate?
Yes! Absolutely feel free to bring celebration balloons, banner etc. Any external suppliers must be pre-authorised by the venue.
Are children allowed?
Yes, children are allowed at private events until 10.30pm
How long do we exclusively have the space for?
Every private hire booking is allocated 5 hours.
For funeral purveys, we allow 3 hours, please see our separate funeral purvey offerings.
Can we cater for dietaries?
We will always endeavour to cater for every dietary requirement, however we strongly advise that guests notify the venue at least 48 hours in advance of any known dietary need.
Is there disabled access?
There is disabled access via our main restaurant entrance. There is also ground level disabled toilets and lift access to our elevated dining area and Carriages Bar.
Parking is available to the rear and front of the the building for easy access.
can we bring a cake?
Yes, feel free to bring a celebration cake, we will happily provide a small cake table if required. Please note however no other food or drink may be brought into the venue.

Is there a room hire charge?
No, we do not charge a room hire fee aslong as you cater for the minimum numbers
