Our Story

The Grove Story began in 1993…….

Originally “The Gallery Bar”, this was the Randevs first venture in East Dunbartonshire, and nearly 30 years on is still an iconic Lenzie landmark.

The bar served the locals of Lenzie and was the popular after work hangout. The bar quickly became known for serving delicious homemade pakora which Mrs Randev would prepare herself for the regulars, soon after, the seed was sown for the Randev’s next venture which today is our sister venue - Rasoi & Delhi Express.

Over the years the venue adapted to the changing demands and requirements of the area. Expansion and refurbishment of the venue saw Restaurant Irrocco open, which with the new “Carriages Bar” were both well established by the mid noughties.

In 2016 both venues were temporarily closed and undertook extensive refurbishments to bring a modern & stylish, all-day hospitality venue to the heart of Lenzie - The Grove.

The Grove operates as a restaurant open for lunch & dinner daily aswell as breakfast at weekends.

Carriages Bar still exists to this day, providing a comfortable and relaxing place to enjoy a glass of wine, pint or cocktail.

The Roof Terrace was added in Spring 2021 and truly is the perfect place to spend those rare sunny days!

You can now enjoy the delicious and freshly cooked food of The Grove, right in the comfort of your own home! That’s right we have launched a takeaway and delivery service!
