Christmas Bookings

  1. By making a booking you agree to the following terms & conditions.

  2. All bookings must be confirmed with a non-refundable £10 per person deposit.  All pre-payments including deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, this applies to all events listed. We do not accept AMEX or cheque payments.

  3. If making a booking online, you will be required to give credit card details to hold your booking. Failure to show for a booking will result in a £10 per person charge to your card.

  4. We require 48 hours notice to make amendments to your booking

  5. For Festive bookings in our restaurants, including Boxing Day and Hogmanay, however excluding Christmas Day, the final balance may be settled on the day of booking.  Christmas Day balances must be paid in full no later than Sunday 30th November.

  6. Payments received cannot be exchanged for food or drink in the event of cancellation by any party member for whatever reason. 

  7. We will endeavour to seat parties together but it is not always possible to seat larger parties at one table. 

  8. Highchairs for all events must be pre-booked.  If a meal is not being paid for a child we cannot guarantee that a high chair will be available.

  9. Guests can request to be seated in a certain area/table however this cannot be guaranteed. 

  10. We would strongly recommend that any party under a tight time constraint would pre-order via telephone, email or in person

  11. During the month of December, a 10% service charge will apply to all bills.

  12. We cannot refund or transfer any monies due to inclement weather if customers cannot make the event, unless we cancel said event.

  13. Smart Dress Code applies at all times.

  14. We reserve the right to refuse admission, regardless of monies paid.  Events start promptly at the time advised.  If anyone shows up late it is not always possible to serve them a meal.

  15. Dietary requirements must be submitted to us at least 48 hours prior to an event, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free or any other allergies or intolerances.  If we are not pre-notified of these requirements, we will not be able to accommodate a meal for said person on the night.

  16. Information in this booklet is correct at the time of printing, the management reserves the right to change any details including menus at any time without prior notice.

  17. If the venue is forced to close due to a change in government covid restrictions, or that restrictions prohibit this the event from taking place the following rules apply:

    All monies paid will be given in credit to use in our restaurants at an alternative date or at an event held in the future.

    If a member of your party cannot attend due to testing positive for covid or is required to self isolate, any monies paid are non-refundable

  18. The Grove operates a Challenge 25 Policy under the Licensing Scotland Act 2005 and reserve the right to refuse service or admission to any patron we deem necessary without reimbursement of monies paid.

Gift Vouchers

  1. R Group Gift Vouchers can be redeemed at any of the following R Group venues:

    The Eagle Lodge - Bishopbriggs

    Garvie & Co - Milngavie

    Rasoi Indian Restaurant - Lenzie

    The Grove - Lenzie

  2. Vouchers cannot be redeemed against Eagle Lodge events or for takeaway food/drinks.

  3. Vouchers are valid for 6 months from issue date.

  4. Vouchers must be used in full, no change can be given for unused differences.

  5. Vouchers cannot be used as deposit or pre-payments.
